Sustainable Fashion Exhibition

During the week of 9th-14th March, there's going to be a pop-up Climate Emergency Hub here in Huddersfield. Kirklees Culture Declares Emergency are hosting multiple interactive sessions in collaboration with several local organisations. There will be art, music and video installations, craft workshops, poetry, and public discussions, to name a few (to see the full line-up, visit the event page for more details).

Culture Declares are a global community of arts & culture champions who have united to declare a climate and ecological emergency.

This week-long event seeks to engage the public with issues, concerns and challenges surrounding climate change in order to imagine and create new possibilities for the future.

On the last day of the pop-up hub, pocket will be exhibiting alongside other sustainable fashion practitioners, activists, designers and makers from 10-4pm in the Piazza (opposite the library).

This is an opportunity to showcase our projects and engage in a discussion surrounding the issues we collectively seek to challenge.

We'd love you to join us and find out more about local projects and businesses working towards a more sustainable future vision for the fashion and textiles sector. Full details below, or contact julia@upcycle-fashion.co.uk if you are interested in exhibiting.
